2016 Season: Fever Bats Continue to be Frustrated.

Wiota @ Fever 5/22/2016

The Indians traveled to Swift Park to face a Fever team looking to change their fortunes. Not much to say here. Typical game of the Fever playing Wiota tough, but not getting the job done. All the scoring occurred in the third inning. Not much else to say as the Fever drop to 1-3 on the year with a final score of 3 to 2. Justin Crotty just isn't getting the support he deserves. The Left Fielder for the Fever is getting slow.... continues to be bad.

Fever @ West Middleton 5/15/2016

Fever went to West Middleton to face the Braves hoping to get their bats going for the first time this season. Justin Crotty was his typical efficient self as it took only 93 pitches to get through the 8 innings. J-Crot had 7 K's in the first 3 innings before WM scored in the 4th. That one measly run was all that was needed as the sticks for the Fever remained silent with only 3 hits on the day. It is beginning to be a consistent theme the last couple games. Hopefully, this does not become a trend for the normally above average bats the Fever have. At least we can say it is early.

Blanchardville @ Fever 5/8/2016

Blanchardville came to Swift Park with a bitter taste in their mouth having lost a heartbreaker to Argyle. The first 7 innings favored the Fever 3-1 until a couple defensive miscues and some timely hitting by Blanchardville proved to be enough to get the victory. Final Score 6-4 Bullets.

Fever (1-1)

LP- Hendrickson (0-1)

Ridgeway @ Fever 5/1/2016

After a stellar pitching performance by Arneson (Ridgeway) and a combination of Crotty/Hendrickson (Fever), the Fever squeaked one out by impressive baserunning by veteran and local celebrity Joe Cox. Final Score 1-0 Fever.
